Glove Story ~

I’m not a cold weather person.  In fact, if it weren’t for chic winter accessories I may never leave my home when the temperature drops below 50 degrees.  With that being said, I must admit that I have an addiction to gloves.  I love them in various colours, materials and lengths.

When I recently saw this short and chic pair from Miu Miu, they took my breath away.  The style is a throwback to a glamorous era when gloves were a staple in every lady’s wardrobe.  I typically add one of my crystal cuffs from Phillipe Audibert over my gloves but I really love the look of this crystal ring!

Mary Beyer is the preferred glove supplier to luxury houses such as Dior and Louis Vuitton.  She now makes made-to-measure custom couture gloves for the general public from her chic Paris boutique in the Palais Royal Gardens.
This fingerless lace pair from Chanel is perfection!
Gants Causse caters to the great houses of Chanel and Dior.  Causse was founded in France’s glove capital, Millau, in 1896, has now opened a boutique near Rue de Rivoli in Paris.  It is here that Causse presents it’s line of timeless styles.  My favourite being the Garbo ~
I love the colour and ruching of this pair from Anedoti ~

I almost purchased this pair from Fifi Chachnil a few months ago while at the boutique in Paris.  I have had my eye on them for quite some time.  While the white is lovely, I have my heart set on the baby pink.  Unfortunately, they were not in stock.  I’m hoping they will be added back to the collection soon.  If not, I will settle for the white pair.

Fabulous post! Gloves add the final touch to any outfit, I feel so 'dressed' when I slip on a pair. Your selections are the best, I like the Garbo and the cherry red pair.
I've collected quite a few pairs from antique shops, surprisingly most are gently or never used!
    Bon week!
