Welcoming A New Season ~

The first sign of leaves changing colours and the brisk autumn air, inspire me to welcome the new season and create a cozy-chic feeling in my home.
Interchanging pillows and throws in brilliant hues and decadent fabrics, such as velvet and cashmere, create a luxurious and inviting vibe throughout your home.
Scents and fresh flowers make a huge impact.

Embrace shorter days by creating ambiance with lighting more candles and tea lights.
My family spends countless evenings on the patio making s’mores while sipping cocoa and wine. This space is one of my favourites.
The possibilities are endless…  What is your favourite way to incorporate autumn into your home?

Happy Autumn mon ami!!! I love bringing in fallen leaves and sprinkling them on the dinner table (after rinsing and drying them of course)..:) and to curl up and just sit looking at the brilliance the gardens and trees turn this time of year… xo C. (HHL)

    Ma chère amie!

WOW you are just amazing, continuing on with your classes! ANd when you graduate, you MUST share your projects. I am working on projects, but I have to be patient with myself as I am now at HOME; I resigned from my full-time teaching job last April and finished up the school year in June. I will however, be a substitute French teacher as SOON AS I get my ID# for the substitute pool system. I am currently managing my Etsy shop that did very well but this summer took a dive, like many shops did. I am barely picking up again, but though I am a creative spirit, I have yet to find what PEOPLE REALLY WANT AND NEED. I am at the playing around stage, but hopefully will learn how to merge my creative imagination with marketable items.

It all takes time and fortunately at this time of our lives, I am able to stay home for a while, but soon I will have to start bringing in more income.

I love these images. At this time of the year I put a wreath on the front door and some pumpkins and mums on the porch. And of course I have to make some pumpkin bread so the whole house smells good. Have a great first week of fall!

That first photo is absolutely beautiful. Autumn loves to tease us here – some days feel like autumn, others are pure summer. We are going through some summer days at the moment. I long for the weather to cool down properly so I can cuddle on the couch wrapped in a blanket.

    Oh ma belle,

It is so good to have this community of LIKEMINDED people who encourage each other; the world is cold and harsh, but our dreams are bigger but our wills have to become strong and non-stop, I am finding. Not everyone out there understands our styles or passions, but one day, maybe we both will get through and find that niche…..THANK YOU for your wonderful company today! Anita
